Just a quick update to let you know where I am with my writing.
'Cold Fear,' will be released in the first week of December, after having good feedback on 'Outback Fear.' Both novels are a suspense with a touch of romance. Two INDIE published novels.
I have completed, (well almost with one more read over, lol...) another novel, a Romantic Suspense, set in the outback, with the romance running in conjunction with the suspense. I'm sending this one off to publishers. Where? You may ask. Well, I have a few in mind. lol... Also another novel is sitting waiting for a final draft.
Oh yes, I'm doing NaNo as well. I've done 10.500 words so far with 2.000 this morning before and after my exercise.
At this stage I don't think I'll self publish another novel. Mind you I say at this stage, but.... I hear you asking why?
Well, I have a goal in mind, and I don't want to lose sight of that goal to be published by a Traditional Publisher. Feedback has been great. I'll see what happens. :)
A question: You can answer here or in private if you wish. :)
Is there a market, or such a thing as a Rural Romantic Suspense? Does this come under the genre of Rural Romance? I think it may do, but I'd like to know for sure. Thanks, any feedback is great. I'll pop my question on face book as well.
Thanks and have a good week everyone. :)

Official Release Date 'Cold Fear.'
'Cold Fear,' Official release date is Saturday lst of December, 2013, just in time for Christmas. Yah! It may come out a little earlier though. :)
One more read over and it's finalised. Phew. After receiving edits back from Susan Valerie Hayward with some suggestions about the plot, and a few things that weren't too clear, it's looking pretty good.
I want to thank everyone who was involved with this manuscript. It's been a journey. Oh the emotion tears me up. lol. A story about a woman, someone like you or me whose child is abducted. An emotional roller coaster when secrets unfold, and the truth is finally revealed.

Wow! Another edge-of-my-seat read! For me, Cold Fear is all about the cold rush of
terror I can only imagine when facing a living nightmare. Facing – and
surviving – the unimaginable. You write with such intensity that I have to believe
you’re feeling everything both Savannah in Outback
Fear and Macy in Cold Fear are
experiencing.---Susan Valerie Hayward.
BLURB
Macy Donavan
battles a terrifying nightmare to protect her two-year-old daughter, Faith from
an intruder, and is knocked unconscious.
When she regains consciousness, her daughter is missing.
As the police widen
their futile search, Macy struggles to pick up the pieces of an unimaginable
life. Urged to take a break she heads to an isolated cabin with a girlfriend to
recuperate so she can continue searching, only to face her worst nightmare—
times ten.
Trapped by a man she
believed dead, he demands she play a game.
She runs, he
hunts. There is no place to hide.

Hunter Romance Writers
Yesterday I drove to Newcastle for our monthly group meeting. Hunter Romance Writers. Instead of a meeting, we organised a workshop and had the lovely Annie Seaton as our guest speaker.
Annie delivered a Manuscript Assessing workshop, or basically the vital elements of what to do before you hit send. The workshop covered punctuation, grammar, and basic information that we tend to overlook before sending our baby into the big wild yonder. It not only refreshed my memory but I came away with a few tips.
