On Writing and Ancestry

Morning everyone,
So how are you going with your reading and writing. Everyday for me is full lately. With writing at least 2.000 words a day, playing domestic goddess (nooooottttt) and all those other things we do to try and run a normal functioning life. Yeah right. :)

I've also been delving into my ancestry and have found some amazing connections. Wow. For most of my life I wondered if I had indigenous blood, and now it's been confirmed. No wonder I love to go walk about from time to time. lol... My youngest brother also loves to go walk a bout. lol...

Anyhow, it's in the female line from my Grandmother back, my Great grandmother was indigenous, her mother and her mother. So, mysteries from pasts gone by are coming out from under the rug, finally. I am loving the journey. I hope to find out more, and eventually meet the people who have been so kind enough to share their experiences, and their knowledge.

Bye 4 now. Domestic goddess cap about to pop on, then the fingers will do the talking. Hopefully I can reach the 2.000 mark again today. :) Have a good one.

Nothing soothes the soul like a.......

I'm late today, so off I go then I'll be back to get some writing done. Wish me luck. lol.. :)  It's warming up and another lovely day. Have a great one. :)

Monday morning blues

Do you get Monday morning blues? I do. I've experienced them for years now.  I think they call it Monday itis. lol... It's a glorious day today, as was the weekend which I thoroughly enjoyed, but come Monday, Urgh.... It's a day for playing domestic goddess, something which doesn't come naturally for me.

Also a day of phone calls to and from real estates, and I want to write all day. It's not fair, but I guess if I can get everything done today it will leave tomorrow free for writing. I usually have Monday's away from writing to catch up on all that other stuff life tosses my way.

On a happier front, my niece had a baby girl recently, Molly, and my brother's wife had a baby boy, Lucas. I love the name Molly and will use it in a novel, as for Lucas, I'll be using that too. I love the name Lucas, although he'll probably get Luke.

Okay, I'm off to check a few emails, and heaven forbid me to go on Facebook which I probably will to make sure everything is up to date. lol excuses, excuses.  I'll put on some music to help me get through the day. There's nothing like singing to make one happy. Have a nice day/night and don't forget to smile. You know it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. :)
