So what is the 'next big thing' blog hop?
The idea is for me to answer ten questions about my book, and then tag three other
authors in order to continue the 'hop' over the internet. They in turn tag three authors of their choosing.
I
was tagged by Tea Cooper a fellow member of the Hunter Romance Writers. http://www.teacooperauthor.com/blog.html Thank you Tea. :)
Ten questions about...
Savannah Harris is determined to raise her three-month-old daughter in the best possible environment, and flees home to Grace Creek, an inheritance from her recently deceased mother.
In an atmosphere thick with fear, Savannah realises she cannot keep running, she must fight back or risk losing not only her life, but the only family she has left, her precious daughter.
1: Was 'Outback Fear' always the title of this
book, even when it was a work in progress?
No. I had Escape to Grace Creek, and a few others.
No. I had Escape to Grace Creek, and a few others.
I had a single idea of wanting to
base something on the property I used to live on, and my imagination took care
of the rest.
3: What genre does your book fall
under?
Suspense with
romantic elements.
4: Which actors would you choose to
play your characters in a movie rendition?
I haven't thought about it, and by choosing
actors it will take the readers imagination away from how they perceive the
hero and heroine to look like, and how they act. I'll let the reader make up their own mind. :)
5: What is the one-sentence synopsis
of your book?
Fear is her coffin, anger her sword
of defence.
It was almost represented by a
Traditional publisher. It is one of those novels that is so close but not close
enough. I am self publishing this one.
One month. I think it was either in the
National Novel Writing Month or the 50ks in 30days.
Karen Robard's
Shiver, a Romantic Thriller which is a compelling read, or Jaye Ford's Beyond Fear, which has been described as a Physiological Thriller, and a Romantic suspense.
9: Who/what inspired you to write
this book?
I would have to say my Grandmother, and the desire to base a story on the
property where my Grandmother taught me many things. The windmill is and has been an icon for many years. I have sapphires, many of perfect grading from mine on the property.
10: What else about your book might
pique the reader’s interest?
It's a novel written by a woman, for all women. A
story of of
one woman's courage, of fighting back, of redemption and new found love.
Oh, and I mustn't forget
'Outback Fear,' does have a hunky Jackaroo as one of the characters. I can't say too much, it may give a vital story element away. But I can assure you, he's hot. :)

Sounds wonderful. I'm looking forward to reading it. I have enjoyed your other books but I have to say the cover of this one is to die for. Good Luck with the self publishing. I hope Outback Fear flies!
Good luck with Outback Fear, Suz. I love that cover!
