I was excited to find out about a webinar and sent an email
three weeks before it was due to start with no response. I resent the email again a few days before, and then a day before it was due to begin and had a link provided. Bingo.
I went to the link, paid my money, and checked the time zones, and double-checked the time zones.
I clicked on the link. It had already begun.
Well I thought it had as here it was up and running and apparently now finished. As
I began to read I realised it was the wrong webinar. *sighs*I went to the link, paid my money, and checked the time zones, and double-checked the time zones.
Anyhow, I emailed hours before the right webinar was
supposed to start and waited a few more hours. I received the link and
registered at two in the morning. Phew. Finally I was in. I checked the link.
Yup it was working. So I set my alarm. I was up at 5.40am, grabbed
a coffee, switched on my computer and went to the link.
Hell no. It stated 'This webinar is now finished.' I missed out. Damn and double damn. Talk about frustrated.
At least I will have access to the webinar in about a week's
time, but I had a pitch ready to go. Oh well, that's what I get for living
on the other side of the world to the Webinar I wanted to participate in, and going by the wrong time
zone.
It's the first time I've been caught out by different time
zones. So hopefully next time I will triple check. I thought of going back to bed to get some sleep, but there is some writing to get done so I'm off to work on that. It's Friday again, so have a great weekend everyone. :)
