Ten Crucial questions

This is worth a read. It'll make you think.

Ten crucial questions to think about when starting a new writing project.

Best seller Lab.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Yes, it's Friday again, and I don't know where the time went. Oh yes I do, I've been doing a last draft of a manuscript, writing, writing and more writing. :)

Have a good one, and smile. :)

Hitting the Send Button

I just hit the 'send' button a while ago. My heart is tapping just that little bit faster. lol.. It's a Rural Romantic Suspense. Is there such a thing? Well there is now. lol Phew.
I'm still reading over the rest of this novel, and then it's back to another one where I've completed around 30.000 words.

It's great when you fall in love with your hero isn't it? His name is Jordan, and he is such a sweetie with similar looks as the recently departed Paul Walker. God bless him.

Jordan is a Jackaroo, and a Carpenter. It's another Romantic suspense, but set in a rural area. So, a Rural Romantic Suspense. Hmm...

Just look at those eyes. There is so much to read. The expressions. Wow. I'm having fun with this one as well.

I've been pretty engrossed with my writing lately, so now you know where I've been and will be for a while. I try to make an appearance on the sites I've joined at least once or twice a month, but the actual writing has to be my first priority.

I should get back to it. Time goes so fast. Have fun. Oh and be good. :) lol

Update...The writing Journey

I've been thinking about my writing journey and where it has taken me, and at what stage I'm at with my writing. All I can say is that it's been a great trip, and I'm enjoying every step of the way. I'm doing what I love. I've met fabulous writers, authors, editors, and agents and made some great friends.

I've been targeting Traditional publishers, with some great feedback which  I'm working on. I'm also targeting the higher end of e-publishers within Australia. As most of us know the publishing industry is slow, but hey they are a busy lot. I'm patient. Well, sort of. :)

I've been emailing an editor from a Traditional Publishing house in Australia and she has been so kind. It's no effort for her to answer a few questions, which I find professional and helpful. I am truly thankful.

I said to a friend today that I feel as though time is running out. Her reply is not to rush, that I have years ahead of me to reach my dream. (I do hope so)

With that said, I may not please all readers but I will try and be the best author I can be. I think I said that sentence a while back. :)

It's Friday again, so have a great weekend and enjoy. I'm going out to sea to catch a glimpse of Migaloo the white whale passing through tomorrow. I hope the weather holds out.

Have a good one. :)

Workshop with Louise Cusack

I attended a workshop run by the Hunter Romance Writers, with Louise Cusack on Characterisation and Suspense in Newcastle yesterday. I enjoyed it immensely. I worked on a wip I've just started and it had me thinking about the best subplots etc. I have a lot to sort through. It also got my mind active. Loved it.

Concentrating. :)

And a photograph of the bay, taken from down the road where I stayed at Warners Bay. Plus it was a great night at Bacardos a Spanish Restaurant where the food was divine. :)
