Reviewing 2013

Well it's been quite a journey this year. One back operation, and a minor one just before that all over and done with. I'm healing well, although at times I do get pain, but not as much as before. I walk longer, sleep longer. lol... and basically life is getting back on track. :) Yah.

I have also reached my goals regarding writing. I've published two novels, sent another two romantic suspense novels to publishers, and finished another. I'd like to give it one more read over before sending it out into the big wide world. lol... just to be sure. I have also been pondering my next manuscript with a few plot lines in place, and characters etc with a few titles in mind.

As far as reading goes, although I hadn't set a goal, I have read around 30 eBooks, which isn't much at all, and read about ten print novels. I thought it'd be a little higher than that, but that isn't  counting the numerous how to books I have read regarding writing. Any excuse is better than none isn't it. lol... :)
Here are some of the eBooks I have read through out 2013, hmm. As I said I really thought I had read more.

2014. Where for art thou my Traditional Publisher. :) Yes, it's my dream and I'm on the fourth step of my ladder of five steps.

Basically 2014 will bring a move, and building another new home, writing at least another two to three novels and subbing to publishers. I was also thinking of writing short stories in between the novels. I'll see what eventuates.

Naturally there is the RWA conference in 2014 which I'm looking forward to. We are also spending a time in the hilly country of Victoria at the end of January, and flying out to Uluru for a three day trip.
Hubby wants to go to Fiji again sometime this year, but I'm thinking of Vanuatu or somewhere different.

Basically 2014 will be getting those novels out, more written and enjoying life. Moving forward and hopefully in the right direction.

What about you? What are your plans for 2014, and did 2013 meet your standards? I'd love to know how you do it all. :)

Thanks, and happy last day of 2013, and I hope you all have a great New Year. I will. :) :)

Out Now. Outback Surprise. Book 2/3
