Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Wow, where did the year go? This month is a busy month for many, and even if you don't
celebrate the birth of Christ, tis the season to be jolly. Enjoy your holidays this month, and time with family and friends. I love Christmas. lol.

I'm almost finished another novel, I'm pleased. Even though I'm taking a break I'll be plotting my next novel.

It's not often you see Santa arriving on a horse.
The Aussie one just isn't the same, but something different. lol... :)

Merry Christmas. :)

Publishers

As most of you know I've been trying to find success with a traditional publisher. As yet nothing. I do doubt myself at times, like most writers I guess.

After having a phone call for over an hour with an editor from a Traditional publishing house in Australia, and having terrific feed back from another, I wonder what has happened.

Okay, so you ask why go with a traditional Publisher? Self satisfaction. :) That's all. Yes, and I also know some of us can make money by INDIE publishing/Self publishing. But that wasn't my goal although I am beginning to earn a nice little part time income.

When I think about it, I know it's the story and what that particular publisher wants, as they say there is nothing wrong with my writing. Well if that's the case how come it hasn't happened? Huh???

I know the answer.....keep at it. It will... but there you have it. Although I will continue to target all avenues this self doubt pops it's ugly head up from time to time and I question, oh boy do I question. lol... Okay, off to write  some more.

Have a great day/night wherever you may be, and keep safe. :)

National Novel Writing Month

Well for my Na No count it's 52 thousand and something. It's on your right on the counter. I'll keep going, as my personal goal is 80.000 plus and I would like to finish it before Christmas. Hopefully I will.

I grabbed every chance I had, and have so many notes, and scribbles on my note pads. lol. I've got a scene where it didn't work too well, so I'll go back after the 80.000 words and re work it, when I do the second draft.

This is a rural romantic suspense. I have loved every minute writing this story.
A mystery remains hidden for generations. It worked well most of the way except as I said, that one scene. lol. I can see where to fix it. I think.

Well besides the NaNo, lot's have been happening in my world. You can catch up with everything on Facebook where it seems information overload is buzzing in the atmosphere. It's great.

On another note, Cold Fear is doing well on Amazon, and reviews are starting to trickle in there and on Good reads.

I must go it's almost 4am here in Oz. See what NaNo did to me. lol.. No sleep. So off to get that sleep I have missed out on during the month of November.

Take care and don't forget to smile. :) You know it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. Have a good one. :)

Oh I'm over at Sandra Harris's blog today if you'd like to pop on over and say Hi. Thank you. :)

Update

Hi Everyone,
Cold Fear is up and available now for download at Amazon The problem was with the larger text Chapter headings, and I didn't want readers paying for something that wasn't up to scratch. (although once it was re-uploaded they could download again) but that's not the point. I'm a perfectionist I think. lol.. A bit of a worry wart, and need, want things to be the best I can deliver/do. :)

On the home front, we are selling our house, and I think I've found a block of land, although settlement wont' be until Aug/September next year it's the perfect block for us to build again. I'm excited, yet we have to have another look at it, etc.

Give me a home among the gumtrees....da da da... lol...

Anyhow, lots to think about.

As for writing, I've sent off two manuscripts to different publishers. I love those ones, romantic suspense set in the outback. I call them rural romantic suspense novels.

My current Na No is going well. It's another Rural romantic suspense. I'm loving it and having fun with my characters. He's a hunk, that's for sure. lol.

On another subject matter it's the change over for Australians on Amazon. I have left my buy page etc at Amazon.com, not au.  Although my books are on Au, my main buyers are from the US market. Thank you. :)

That about wraps it up for me today. Storms are hanging about here, and we have been advised of some activity in the sky this afternoon. Yikes.

I'll leave you with my motto, although it does seem hard at times, I don't intend to. :) Have a good one.

Out Now. Outback Surprise. Book 2/3

I'm pleased to announce the release of Outback Surprise at all Amazon Kindle Stores. Enjoy :) x Blurb:  Tiffany Walker’s life is turned...
