Outback Fever Australia Day Sale on Amazon Au

Outback Fever

Outback Fever has been selected as an Australia Day promotion on Amazon Au. Today only. If you'd like to read an Aussie Rural Romantic Suspense set in remote Australia, here's a review to whet your appetite. :)

Romantic Suspense with tension and grit!

What an excellent romantic suspense novel from Aussie author Suzanne Brandyn. The pace was fast, with a delicious mixture of mystery and tension to keep me turning the pages to find out more! The descriptions of the Australian countryside are such that I could see the dry grass, the devastation from the drought, the starkness of the land, the heat of the summer; the last few chapters had me spellbound. In my opinion this is the author’s best work, and I’ll be looking forward to more from her. Highly recommended.

Thank you. :)

Happy Australia Day

Today on each Australia Day being January 26 we commemorate the establishment of the first European settlement in 1788 at Port Jackson, now a part of Sydney.
On January 26, 1788, the First Fleet of 11 ships from Great Britain arrived at Port Jackson, which now forms Sydney Harbour. The First Fleet was led by Captain Arthur Philip. He established the Colony of New South Wales, the first penal colony in Australia. By 1808, January 26 was being celebrated as “First Landing Day” or “Foundation Day” with drinking and merriment.
We come together to celebrate our country and culture. We reflect the achievements of our nation and explore avenues to make our land much better for future generations.
We demonstrate our pride for our country and the Australian of the Year Awards are presented. These are awards for citizens who have made outstanding contributions to our country. Ceremonies are held to welcome immigrants to out country who have been granted Australian citizenship.
