Over the Tablelands

I had another road trip the other day, up and over the mountains to the New England Region of NSW. The little town of Walcha caught my eye. With a population of 2.427 (2011) (not that much bigger than the small town I live in )Walcha is situated 420km from Sydney via Thunderbolt's Way through Gloucester, and 523 km via Tamworth and the New England Highway. I was taken in as always by their open air sculptures. I thought you might like to see some photographs.  Cute aren't they? :)

Hi Angelina,
They are unusual aren't they. Do you have anything similar where you live?

Hi Kez,
It hasn't changed much, but still holds that quaint, quiet town syndrome.
