Hunter Romance Writers and Collages

It doesn't seem like a month has passed since I met up with my writers group, Hunter Romance Writers, in the Hunter Valley. We had such fun at our meeting. Most of us achieved our monthly goals, and guess what, I didn't have to wear the naughty hat this month. Phew. :)

On the agenda we covered brainstorming, collages, writing an anthology, publishers, our next meeting, you name it. We are quite a productive little group. :) Sadly a few of our members couldn't make it this month, but our new members have been approved. You can find our more on our website: http://hunterromancewriters.wordpress.com/

Here are some collages we worked on for manuscripts in progress. They are gorgeous. Very talented members. :)

I had a lovely day. We laughed as usual, chatted and didn't stop until our goodbyes mid afternoon.

Next month we are having a special meeting where we meet with a Detective and fire him with as many questions as possible. lol. Poor guy. Look out. :)

Many thanks to Suzanne Hamilton for organising the boards, glue, sissors, and Kerri for the magazines, and everyone who helped make it a great day. Looking forward to next month's meeting. Suzanne :)

Wow! Those collages are inspiring! What a great idea to do at your meetings.

Glad you missed out on the naughty hat, Suzanne.

What a brave man, coming to a romance writers group. He does know he's going to a romance writers group, doesn't he? You'll get so much great information. :)

lol.. Thanks for calling in. :)

Looks like you had a blast making those. Sometimes it's nice not to 'write' at a writers group. This still keeps your juices flowing.

Hi Tami,
We had fun. Yes, it's all writing related so I don't feel guilty. Sometimes it's handy to have pictures of scenes, and people. I think it helps description with more depth.
Thank you for stopping in. :)

Hi Annie,
It was fun, and now I'm making another one. lol... It's helping me describe in more depth. I am also enjoying something I never thought I would. Eh. Go figure.

There was even mention of scrapbooking, but wow, I don't have time for that, although it does look interesting.

Thanks for stopping by. :)
