I've always been intrigued by puppets. I still am today. :)
Walking in was like walking back in time. The air was musty, and damp and the stone blocks that formed the building were over a hundred years old.
After climbing down some hairy, steep steps into the basement, I was so intrigued. I was in another world. What a delight...It was packed with puppets, and they were all for sale. Below is the first of three rooms we came across.
This is the room running at the back of the first room and there was another room to my left behind me.
After thirty years of making and selling puppets the elderly husband and wife team, who put so much intricate detail into their puppets, are selling out and the store was closing down a few weeks later. It is so sad to know it won't be there any more. Boo Hoo!
Little stubborn Pinocchio insists on lying down. I guess he too has seen a few years of hanging around. He hung outside above the door, luring customers in.
I can't get the photo to turn up the right way.
I'll leave you to check out the little puppets while I dash out. Enjoy, I did. Oh btw, Here's the one I purchased. Isn't she gorgeous. lol. :)
I had to take these just to show you how intricate they really are.
