You have probably noticed out and about on the internet that I've been messing with my header pictures, and to tell you the truth I don't like them one bit. lol
I've tried to come up with something new as the old one was dull and boring. Each site requires different photo sizes, each site shrinks to their settings, so this is a challenge alone.
I'll eventually get something I'm happy with but please bear with me while I decide what is suitable. Heavens knows how long that will take. lol.
I'm giving up for now, as I have other challenges to take care of. Muffins cooking in the oven for a start.
I finished 2.000 words this afternoon on my current wip, so that made me smile. Not long to go now and this one will be finished also.

I like the landscape, especially since it reflects your tagline about remote places. Does the theme template force you to use an inset picture? You could probably do without it.
I think what would probably help is a stronger typeface for your name in the blog header. It's a little too delicate for the landscape picture.
