Reviews

While I'm honoured to receive emails from writers and publishers to undertake reviews, my time of late is limited. I will try my best to undertake some in the near future from a readers perspective, and a writers perspective.

I am also judging competitions for the unpublished writers through Romance Writers of Australia. I judge contemporary novels, thrillers with romantic elements, romantic suspense, rural romance, category (not all). I do not however judge erotic, or dark paranormals as I do not know this genre to be able to judge effectively.

Australian stories interest me because number one I am an Australian. lol.. Also I spent considerable time living on a property on the edge of the outback rounding up sheep, cattle, and even driving a tractor. This was a time where my Grandmother taught me how to crack a stock whip. Not the larger kind, like she could, but a smaller stock whip. I finally managed it, but her skills outshone mine. lol.. Yes, Grandmother's taught us a lot of valuable lessons, didn't they?

I also spent time in cities and on the Great Barrier Reef diving. I can say I've had such diversity and experiences in my life that I feel an inner contentment that I am lucky enough to have experienced so much. I have also travelled overseas to USA, the Hawaiian islands, Fiji, Bali, Mexico, and the list goes on. :)

I'm hoping my youngest brother will go back to the Pilbarra area soon for his work, or it could be on the edge of Northern Territory and Western Australia, we aren't sure as yet. I will spend as much time as possible exploring and gathering information, as well as experiencing. :) He was employed as the General Manager of PACA, ( Pilbara Aboriginal Contractors Association,) His experiences are diverse and so interesting. I've heard some amazing stories, some though I would never repeat.

I am also trying to get another novel finished. :) So that's what I'm up to this week, and hopefully next week I'll get back to the other manuscript.

So that's it for me at present. How's everyone else going?

Bye 4 now. :)

I don't blame you for wanting time for your writing. Afterall, it is you. It is what you want. As for reveiws you've done a few. Don't be bulldozed into doing more than you can handle.

Tarnya. x
Waiting patiently.

Wow, Suzanne, don't forget to breathe!

Well, I'm contest manager for the STALI this year, so you might be hearing from me soon in an 'official' capacity. :)

I'm also writing a new story arc and submitting my sci-fi romance.

Hi Tarnya,
No, don't worry. I only take on what I can handle. :)

Sandy, Official. lol.. Yes, I'm judging the STALI as well. I love judging and I'm subjective, whether it be a story I don't usually read, I make sure I know the market and what is out there and what publishers are looking for.

But formost is the story, the plot and characters. :)
