Blogs-Question

I've been doing a lot of research lately and I am amazed at the availability of everything for a writer which is easily obtainable.

I wanted to put up this link to Rachelle Gardner's blog as there is always something that interests me on her site.  From Blog to Book  Perhaps you will find something of interest as well.

Also scroll down to Authors are you spamming? or click on that link.  It's worth the read. It got me thinking to what Twitter is about, especially now. Do you use Twitter, if so what do you speak about? What benefits do you think it has?

Friday again, it goes so fast,

Have a great weekend,

Suzanne :)

I don't twitter and I can't see myself doing it at this stage. I have enough trouble posting once a week with my blog! We had a discussion on the DSDU blog recently and NYTBS Keri Arthur's opinion is that word of mouth is the best advertising.

I'm not a fan of Twitter. It's fine for funneling your blog and Facebook feeds but it takes too much time to have conversations--if you can follow them at all.

Occasionally, if I'm on there or if someone tweets about me, I'll get on and respond or retweet a worthwhile tweet.

Sandy and Maria,

I don't feel guilty now. lol... It's like I love getting on there but at present I have nothing much to say. I love reading what other people are doing though, but it's more like promoting land than anything else.

Have a great weekend.
The sun is shinning.

I like twitter but feel more at home on facebook, so I spend more time there. I do lots of listening on twitter, mainly to keep an eye on what the writers centres and publishing houses are doing and talking about. I do post my blog feed through twitter and retweet stuff I find useful.

Thanks Stacey.

Yes, I agree. It's good to keep up with what's happening in the publishing world.

Thank you for stopping by. :)
