Four Corners Friday Margaret West

I wanted to bring writers to Australia from all around the world. I'll see how it goes. :)  So Welcome to Four Corners Friday. My first guest is Margaret West. The title of her novel is Abigal Cottage.

Welcome Margaret.
I love the title of your story. It drew me in at once. I think readers would love to get to know you a little more as much as I would, so over to you.
 Thank you, Suzanne.
I moved from London to the countryside of Kent about six years ago. The pace is slower, the people more sociable and instead of traffic outside, we get the odd cow or sheep mooching around. When the snow falls it looks like a postcard scene when I look out my office window. I find I can write light hearted comedy romances when I’m sitting on the beach, swamped by a large floppy hat and lulled by the gentle waves hitting the stones on the beach. I won’t paint a romantic picture of sandy beaches stretching for miles. It’s full of stones that numb the bum if you’re not wise enough to bring a cushion.
Since I left smoggy London behind I find that my thoughts are less scattered and my books have changed their genre from dark paranormal to more comedy romances. I feel stress free and light in body and mind. The last year I have graduated to writing non-fiction. I find the Holistic Side of my business has blossomed as I commune with nature more, and I scour woods for nettles and wild blackberry’s in the summer to make natural lotion and potions.

My dark paranormal Romance,Abigail Cottage, is not your usual run of the mill romance. It’s a story of bitter betrayal, unrequited love and a twisted logic that will leave you dumbfounded. This isn’t a book where everyone survives. In life, bad things happen. In Abigail Cottage, terrible tragedies happen too. Believe that not every story has a happy ending.

Blurb:
When Abigail falls in love with Justin she can’t begin to know the world of hurt she is heading into. Gorgeous, kind, rich – he’s the man we all dream to meet. BUT, all is not what it seems because Justin is a true demon from hell, disguised as a mortal being. He wants her and will do, kill or maim anyone who tries to stop him. Namely Shaun the real hero, who wants Abigail more! So what does a mortal man do against a demon? He enlists the help of a gypsy of course. But not any old gypsy. Rosa knows Justin very well and has the powers of the spirit world on her side to fight him. Using crystals as a powerful weapon, the light of the spirit world to lead them, they embark on a battle with the whole of the underworld. Many loved ones will lose their lives. This isn’t a book where everyone survives. Not every romance has a happy ending. To buy

My next book, due out in April, is on Psychic Development. Finding your inner peace and contentment. I’ll be blogging more about that here http://margaret-paranormalromanceauthor.blogspot.com/closer to the time.

Mags is a fabulous writer and a fantastic person! I'm privileged to be able to read her books, sometimes before they get published! Abigail Cottage is wonderful, and so are her books on psychic development and holistic medicine.

I totally envy you the country life, Mags, sounds wonderful.

Hi Mags, great book. I love the paranormal, and you're right, not all stories have a happy ending.

Love all the twists you put in this. A real page turner.

Everyone will enjoy the read, I'm sure.

Good luck and may your sales rocket.

Great to see you all here today. Sorry I was at a writers meeting, so I didn't have internet access.

It's another on my tbr pile. As Christina knows, I dabble in paranormal. :)

Thank you,

Suzanne
