Research

I have been doing quite a bit of research of late, and it's taken me to places like the local police station, the library, ambulance station, and the state emergency services. They have been very helpful in answering all my (dumb) (silly) questions. But hey, they aren't dumb or silly. I'm researching Missing People in Australia. It's an area I don't know, and people have been wonderful.

Do you undertake research, and if so do you enjoy it? Love to hear how you go about it, or what sites on the Internet that have helped you.

Okay back to writing. It' coming along reasonably well. :)

P.S.  The writers retreat last weekend was wonderful. I especially loved the brainstorming. I also got to know the other members of Four Points Author Network much better. What a great bunch of ladies. Yah! :)

I've worked with the local librarian (who is the president of the firehouse) and had him show me around and explain things. I think I would have to have someone else show me though cause he was skimming things like I should know since I know him.

I do a lot of online searching and one of my favorite sites is: http://www.etymonline.com/index.php
