National Novel Writing Month November 2009/Comments

I love that quote. 'To achieve great things, two things are needed. A plan, and not quite enough time. '

National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.:

Woo Hoo! Don't you just love challenges.

I like this Paragraph.

Make no mistake: You will be writing a lot of crap. And that's a good thing. By forcing yourself to write so intensely, you are giving yourself permission to make mistakes. To forgo the endless tweaking and editing and just create. To build without tearing down. lol lol  http://www.nanowrimo.org/

Contemporary Romance
Well I've got my characters sorted out, my plot and subplots, making it character driven and even a working title. Lets hope it runs as smooth as possible.

I'm signed up with National Novel Writing Month (like I do each year). Do you sign up with them?  How do you tackle the NaNo? Do you need that push push/that cheering on from other writers or do you just charge ahead and do it?

I'll be lost in NaNo Land for the following month. So just in case I haven't emailed or posted on your blog I'm not ignoring you. I'll be busy typing away trying to avoid the many distractions. If time permits I'll get a word counter to put on my blog, and then if times still permits I'll update as much as possible. lol... Ah sweet precious time. I sometimes wished days were longer and nights shorter. :)

Good Luck to all the participants.   :)
